Terms of Use

Last updated October 8, 2026

These terms cover the website at coinaiapp.com and the Coin AI mobile app, both made by Sycamore Software. Using either means you accept them.

The part that actually matters

Coin AI gives estimates, not appraisals.

A grade estimate produced from a photograph is not a grade. Only PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG and CACG assign grades that the market recognises, and they do it by examining the coin in hand under magnification. We are not affiliated with any of them, we do not act on their behalf, and nothing Coin AI produces should be presented to a buyer as a certified grade.

Values are published guide figures, not offers. Where we show what a coin is worth, we show where the number came from and when we retrieved it. A price guide is an estimate of a market, not a quote. Nobody is obliged to pay it, and what you actually get depends on the coin in hand, the buyer, and the day.

Decisions about money are yours. If you buy, sell, grade, clean or melt a coin on the strength of something Coin AI told you, that is your decision and its consequences are yours. We are not dealers, appraisers or financial advisers, and nothing here is financial advice.

If you are about to act on a figure that matters, get the coin in front of a person who can hold it.

Your account

You need a subscription to use scanning, grading and the binder. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials to yourself and for what happens under your account.

You must be old enough to form a contract where you live, and at least 13.

Subscriptions and payment

Coin AI Pro is sold as a weekly or yearly subscription through the App Store or Google Play.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Only the store can do that.

What you may and may not do

Use Coin AI for your own collecting. Don't:

We may suspend an account that does any of these.

Your content

Photos you upload stay yours. You give us permission to process and store them so the app can work — identify the coin, estimate a grade, show it in your binder. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your photos to train models for anyone else, and we do not publish them.

Our content

The app, the website, the writing and the design are ours. Coin data comes from third-party catalogues, used under licence and attributed where required. Coin designs themselves are works of the United States Mint.

Availability

We will try to keep Coin AI running and will not always succeed. Features may change or be removed. Third-party services we depend on may go down, and when they do, parts of the app will too. We do not promise uninterrupted service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: Coin AI is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from decisions you made using the app — including money lost buying or selling a coin.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Ending it

You can stop using Coin AI and delete your account at any time, in Settings or by emailing contact@cardsaiapp.com. We may end your access if you break these terms. The sections on liability, your content and our content survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, and its courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country's law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use Coin AI means you accept them.
